The embrace is the essence and heart of tango, a large selection of the images above are taken in the hope of capturing a moment that reflects this. To all those who I've photographed I give a big thank you, having a lens pointed at you in a milonga is in general counter to the spirit of that private connection one aims for. I’ve tried to capture some sort of truth as I see it though, I am a tangueros too after all. I am a believer in non-flash photography at milongas so use only ambient light for all the images above.
